WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE?

• HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PC or MacOS version (browser version sometimes have performance and resolution problems).
• The aim is to type as many characters as possible.
• Press and hold to type more characters at the same time in the bar.
• Avoid your key being hurted by the characters by holding it down.
• Hold down until the character bar fills up (the key will light up) and release the key to drop a wave bomb and delete some letters (the score will not go down).
• The bomb has a cool-down period until it can be used again. Type characters until the yellow dotted bomb bar fills up and the bomb will be available again.
• Switch key between games and discover all the diferent comments that Escape got for you ;) . (Numbers, letters, Caps Lock, ...).

This is something that I should have explained better in the game, but I realised this too late, so I hope this advice helps someone. Also, in PC version you can switch it from windowed to full screen pressing Alt+Enter.

WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?

The escape key of your keyboard is angry with you. You've been mistreating the keys on your keyboard all this time. KEY EXPLOITER!!!

For this reason you can only use one key for playing this game.

You must try to type as many letters as possible with your chosen key avoiding getting hurt. Hold the key to charge your wave bomb and delete some of the letters, but try not to press the key for too long or it will explode. Keep writting to get more wave bombs.

Try playing with keys of all kinds between games and find out what Escape has to say.

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

All programming, design and artwork has been done by Picodaddy (Me :) ) except for:

• Font: Coolvetica.
• Music: 'Bluesy Vibes'.
• Sounds: Various sources, but mostly from Kenney.nl. Then I edited them with Audacity.

This game participated in the #3 BlackthornProd Game Jam (my first jam :D)with the theme 'Less is more'. I have focused it on design by subtraction, so here you have a game controlled by just one key. It is also present in the Lore, so the less you use the keys the happier they are.

Edit: This game finally ranked 33rd out of more than a thousand games participating, and 3rd in terms of innovation. I am very proud that my first jam went so well and I want to thank all the people who gave me feedback and support. Thank you all very much :D !!!!
